Tomb Raider II Survival GuideWalk-through

Wreck of the Maria Doria …continued

Exit the Briny Deep
Back in the relative safety of the wheelhouse, take the Cabin Key past the box trench area. Just past the trench, turn right and follow the corridor and locate Cabin Key Lock. Gain entrance and pull the switch you find, releasing a trapdoor in the box trench. Time to move that box. Drop into the trench and push the box under the switch. Pull that switch, thereby releasing a trapdoor in the ceiling of the Cabin Key room. Let's investigate.

You'll find yourself in a terribly familiar-looking room. Blast the thugs from above, then locate the square niche carved out of the top tier floor, to the right of where you entered. Back-hop and grab the inside edge of the niche and release. You'll fall on safe ground. Pull up and hang a left and enter the square hole in the wall. An M-16 rests inside, that is, if for some strange reason you don't already have it.

Draw your harpoon gun, then drop into the drink, wary of flippered enemies (if you haven't killed them from above already). Get your breath when the fighting is over, then head for the area behind and to the left of the submerged barrels. You'll find a deep trench and a watery tunnel. In the tunnel, hang a left before you come into contact with the first yellow eel. Then keep swimming - the exit is a lungful of air away.
