        Diving Area There's only a fair amount of diving in this mission. There is, however, a lot of fire. It's one of those Zen riddles that can only be solved during the course of true adventure. You'll see. This is also the mission where both the plot thickens and Lara slips into her wetsuit. A lot of fighting and puzzle-solving stands between here and her rubber wear, so what are you waiting for? Leap of Faith Restore calm and order to the hooked platform/pool room, then aim for the right edge of the right platform. It's an easy jump and grab from the yellow stripe. Turn left and run past the hook for a grab on the ledge of the other platform. Make a delicate 90-degree turn to the right and leap. Easy. The slide/acid room is easy to negotiate. Simply stand in the center of the slide, such that you're lined up with the walkway that juts out into the acid pool. Slide down the ramp and jump when you get to the edge of the slide. Simple. Keep in mind there is a way to get a secret, if you're interested….
Once past the acid trap, turn left and dash into the hallway and climb, climb, climb that ladder. At the top, approach the left edge of the hole in the floor. Turn around and put your heels against the edge (your left side should be to the entrance of the room). Drop backward into the hole, the grab button pressed as you slide. Dangle on the edge, then release and grab. Pull Lara up and slay the baddie. Dash ahead and take a left at the T-intersection. Stand between the broken railings and aim yourself at the distant square ledge in the sloping wall.
You'll take a fair amount of damage when you land, but you won't die - that is if you do it correctly and your health is maxed out. Diving Area, continued…
