Research Overview

The CECL lab conducts research on the quality of distributed systems across a range of applications.

  • Cloud Computing - Architecture and Performance Analysis and Optimisation.
  • Edge Computing and Internet-of-Things - Architecture, Feasibility Studies, Performance Engineering.
  • Blockchain Technologies: Security Assessment, Evaluation of Use Cases.

We support applications across business and technology domains.

We develop a range of solutions, including:

  • Controller architectures for autonomous and self-adaptive applications
  • Optimisation solutions for system performance management.
