Temple of Xian ...continued

The Dragon Seal Begat the Gold Key…
Drop off the right side of the wooden platform and head for The Dragon Seal lock. Place it and enter the doorway to your left. Dodge the rolling blade of death (use the niches in the passage for hiding places) en route to the slope that leads to the large room with the switches lining the wall. Locate the three obviously useful switches (the ones with green handles) and pull them - when the third one is down, the escape hatch pops open. We suggest you pull these switches and get out as fast as you can - the spiked ceiling stops its descent for no one.

Negotiate the small and large pillar and pause when you are standing above the water pool. A series of lung-busting swims await. Drop into the drink and make for the submerged lever in the far-right corner. Note the long, wide passage on your left as you go. Pull the lever and go up, way up, for air. Check out the closed door. Wonder what opens it?

When ready, dive down and swim as hard as you can down the long, wide passage. At the end, near the top, turn right, enter the tunnel and locate yet a lever about halfway down on the left wall. Pull the switch to open the metal door just opposite. Enter this small area and locate the switch inside. Pull it to open a set of doors opposite the entrance of the wide, long passage. Swim back for air. Replenished, dive into the newly-opened area, locate and pull the switch on the right wall, a little more than halfway down. Return to your favorite spot for air - and take a look at that now-open door.

Enter this new room, hang a right and make for the spiked wall room. Angle in, running to the left. Yank the switch in the far wall, turn around, and angle for the far-right corner. Go ahead and drop into the drink. The current in the tunnel shoots you right to the Gold Key.

Gold Key safely stowed, follow the passage to air - and the main water room. Hmmm. Swim for the Gold Key lock platform. Place the key and swim through the submerged doors to the left. Hook right when you get to the first corner and swim through the open grated doorway. You're after a lever hidden behind the first pillar inside. Once you've pulled the lever, turn left, hook around the pillar to the right, and exit this area via the now-open doorway. Swim straight ahead and up - aiming for the opening in the grating and the air above. Pull up to the ledge in the near-right corner. Time to kill a whole lotta spiders. Big spiders. Big scary spiders….
