I am an Assistant Professor at the KRDB Research Centre of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

My main interests are in Knowledge Representation. I devise techniques for solving non-standard reasoning problems, and extend knowledge represenation formalisms (in particular Description Logics) to handle meta-knowledge.
