In2Data: Intelligent Integration and Access to Data


At In2Data, we investigate foundational, methodological, experimental, and application oriented aspects of access to structured and semi-structured data and information by leveraging its semantics. We combine techniques developed in the area of ontologies in knowledge representation, with industrial technologies for the efficient management of large amounts of data. This allows us to develop novel technologies and tools that enable both domain experts (engineers, managers, …) and IT specialists to deal with the increasing complexity of data and information. We investigate also novel techniques for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of data management technologies.
