My research interests are in exploiting psychologically motivated constructs, such as personality and emotions, to improve recommender systems and personalized systems in general.

I am looking for motivated PhD students to work with me in the areas of emotion- and personality-based recommender systems for the academic year 2016/17 at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bolzano. The deadline for applying is 8. June 2016. The PhD study programme starts on 1. November 2016 and lasts three years. The Faculty of Computer Science will fund nine (9) PhD students.
