Distributed Systems Lab: Routing



In this lab, you will find out the route that packets take to their destination.

1. traceroute

Use the 
   traceroute
command to find out which route packets are taking from your machine to a host of your choice.

2. whois

Use the 
   whois
command to find out more about the routers on that route.
