Exam
The first exam took place on June 20, 2007, 10:00 -- 12:00. The exam was closed-book, i.e. it as not allowed to
use any of the lecture material during the exam. The students were given a helper sheet
for reference during the exam. exam marks
The material to be studied for the exam consists of the handouts and basic reading of lectures.
Overview of course material for exam
To give an idea of the questions asked at the exam, there is a test
exam.
Lectures
Lectures take place on Wednesdays from 08:30-10:30 in room E420,
with the exception of February 28 and April 25
Each lecture has associated basic reading, optional reading and
reference material. Basic reading is required material for the
course. Optional reading is more advanced reading which provides
more insight in the topics. Finally, reference material consists of
language references, which are useful for the practical
day-to-day use of the languages.

textbook for the course:
