I work in the Database and Information Systems Research Group. My area of research is the Explorative Data Analysis and Visual Data Mining. I participate in the 3 Dimensional Visual Data Mining (3DVDM) project. I use density information of the datasets to reveal interesting, yet unknown structures and patterns in the datasets. I define, calculate and give interpretations of Density Surfaces to visually investigate datasets.
