eMayor Clustering Event

Secure Information Processing in the Public Sector (SIPPS)

March 4, 2005    ♦    Bozen-Bolzano, Italy    ♦    held in conjunction with TCGOV-2005

Organized by the eMayor project

Introduction

eMayor is an 6FP IST project which aims to provide secure, interoperable, and affordable Web services for Small and Medium sized Government Organisations (SMGOs) across Europe. The development of e-government web services in smaller municipalities is often hindered by lack of financial, political or legal support. Security and technical problems cannot be solved because the required expertise or infrastructure is not available. By creating an e-government platform, eMayor intends to help SMGOs overcome these barriers.

As a concrete dissemination action the eMayor project organizes a Clustering Event about Secure Information Processing in the Public Sector (SIPPS) which is held in conjunction with the TED Conference on e-Government (TCGOV-2005) in Bozen-Bolzano, Italy.

Interested people who want to attend and give a short presentation about a relevant project in the fields of security and e-government shall contact Pim Hengeveld: PHengeveld@deloitte.nl.
