Tutoring in a Language Learning System

Abstract

At the European Academy Bolzano we are currently developing an adaptive Web-based language learning system for the German and Italian languages. The system contains a user model, adapts its content to the individual needs and preferences of each user, and guides the user through a systematic and individually shaped vocabulary acquisition process.
