Arriving by train:

Bolzano is well connected by international trains. From many places in Europe it is convenient to travel to Bolzano by train. Bolzano's train station is located right in the city centre, in approx. 5 minutes walking distance from the university.

Arriving by plane:

There are a number of airports to choose from.

The local airport (Airport Bolzano) is small and offers a limited number of flights to Rome and Munich.

Verona (Airport Verona, car: 1.5h) and Innsbruck (Airport Innsbruck, car: 1h, train: 2h) are small close-by airports with good connections to international airports. They offer cheap fares in connection with international flights.

The international airports of Munich (Airport Munich (car: 3h, train: 4.5h) and Milan (Airport Milano, train: 4h) are the closest international hubs.

Arriving by car:

Bolzano is easily accessible by car. To plan your trip use, e.g., Routenplaner. Upon your arrival in Bolzano we recommend to use one of the parking houses in the city center.
